COOBRA CB3 Automatic Mash Kettle - 30L.
Note: The description below applies to the previous CB25 kettle.

32-liter stainless steel mash kettle for mashing, brewing, and wort cooling.

Recommended maximum liquid volume: 25 liters, maximum malt capacity: approximately 7 kg.

Currently available is a model with an improved V2 controller:

- Timer can be set up to 99 minutes

- Power can be adjusted in 100W increments (minimum 500, maximum 2500W)

- Degrees Celsius can be changed to Fahrenheit

Practical notes for operating mash kettles:

- The malt for mashing should be relatively coarsely ground, so that at least the husk remains intact. Otherwise, the fines will penetrate below the lower sieve and clog the pump. A clogged pump can be easily disassembled and cleaned, and it will continue to function.

- When stirring the mash, try not to "scrape" the bottom (the lower screen of the mash basket) with a spoon, as this will force the husk and any remaining malt below the screen, which will then enter the pump, potentially clogging it.

- If you are using a limited amount of malt (7 kg), you should carefully measure the amount of water needed for mashing (practically no more than 22 liters), otherwise the wort may not fit.

- During mashing, there should be a layer of wort above the upper screen. This will allow the wort to flow evenly through the malt. Don't worry about the excess being drained through the middle hole and down into the pump.
